"CATWOMAN"... the easy, quick, and fool-proof way to do your very own "Cat-eye" Style Makeup

Recently the "Cat-Eye" has become THE trend for make-up lovers, and fashion designers everywhere.  Open any fashion magazine, and you're sure to spot the "rarrrring" style on several of the pages.  From first taking over the fashion scene back in the 1950's.. the trend has surely evolved since then, stealing the spotlight on runways today, from New York to Paris, to London and Rome.  The dramatic, whimsical look makes a bold statement that's both high-fashion and practical.

Now, before I scare you off with this super-dramatic version of the fiercely beloved Cat-Eye (above)... and have you telling yourself there's no way I'd be able to pull that off... take a second and breathe-- because you're going to be ecstatic to find that YOU CAN wear this super-fun trend.

We're just going to take it DOWN a notch (or two, or three).

All you're going to need is: a liquid liner of your choice (I like to use CoverGirl Liquid Liner), a dark black mascara, and a dark eye-pallet (you can use black, purple, or dark blue).

Be sure to start with a clean, moisturized canvas (face).  Now on to the eyes...
* Use a base shadow (I like to use a nude-colored base) and cover your entire lid
* Take your liquid liner and start at the center (or inner part for a more bold look) of the lid and work your way out. Be sure to keep the line thin across the lid and widen it as you work your way outward.

*  Extend the eye liner on past your lash line, upward. And this is the BEST part-- it doesn't have to be perfect and here's why...

*  Use a Q-tip, (dampen the end) and wipe the liner to straighten the line or make a better "point" for your cat-eye.

* Now, use your dark eye-shadow pallet and sweep dark shadow from the center of the lid outward and on up toward the crease.

* And finally, use the base shadow and blend the dark shadow to tame it down.  You can use the base to sweep on the inside of your lid, or for a more dramatic look, use a shimmery shadow.

* And most importantly--  add MASCARA!! Sweep a coat or two on your lashes and BAM-- your ready to rock the runway.. or the office.

See... super easy, and super quick!  You CAN wear this trend-- just remember to keep the shadow subtle and keep the liner thin during the day.  And to take it up a notch when you head out for the evening: add more shadow and more mascara!  It's that easy.
So go try this fun and easy-- and did we mention super-fierce, makeup trend now--- because you're going to be looking gorgeous, Catwoman!.... Just don't be surprised to hear the multitude of cat-calls wherever you go.
